My general interests concern the abnormal brain activity underlying psychopathology. I have examined brain activity in schizophrenia, problem gambling, substance use disorders, and externalizing disorders. Currently, my goals are to develop research related to the clinical needs and long-term implications of brain injury, and assessment and treatment of brain injury recovery through advanced neuroimaging processes and novel treatment methods such as neuromodulation (e.g. transcranial electrical/magnetic stimulation).
